Richard F Larkins 04/02/38 - 06/02/10

He was the great grandson of W.A. Larkins, founder of Larkins, Fla. now, South Miami. He was born 4/2/38, son of Winston & Myra. Richard was a craftsman at welding and machinery, hunter and fisherman with great love for his family and friends. He leaves his wife of 52 years Onita "Nikki". Children; Michael (Debbie Hunter), Robin Ingram (David), and Russell (Karla). Grandchildren; Renae Larkins, David Ingram Jr. (Alicia) and Sarah Ingram. Great grandchildren; Karina and Harley Ballman. Brother; Carl Larkins. Half-sister; Winifred Larkins and half-brother; Winston Larkins. He was awarded the Anhinga Degree. He was a 32nd Degree Mason belonging to Biscayne Bay Lodge for many years.
Richard was a long time member and friend of Airboat Association of Florida. His dedication to the environment, hard work and all around good humor has been a true beacon of what we hoped our group would become.
His leadership and friendship will be missed by all.
