The Airboat Association of Florida regrets to announce the death of Michael "Mike" Forrest Larkins. We extend our condolences to the family and friends..  


Michael Forrest Larkins

Born September 14, 1959 deceased on April 25, 2020.

Leaving behind his daughter Renae Larkins, son in law Harley Balman, Granddaughter Karina Balman and grandson Harley Balman. Mother Onita Larkins, sister Robin Ingram (husband David Ingram), and sister in law Karla Larkins.

Born and raised in Miami. Mike was an avid hunter and loved being in the Everglades with his family. His love for the Everglades and conservation was his life. He was a true woodsman and Gladesman. Mike was a longtime member and friend of the Airboat Association of Florida.

Mike was a master fabricator, Iron Worker and all-around skilled tradesman, He was a great welder at Larkins Welding in Miami and a well-loved man in the community.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Airboat Association of Florida in his memory.

A celebration of life Service will be held at the Airboat Association of Florida at a later date. TBA
