Russell Larkins
It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of our care taker, family member, and friend Russell Larkins.
Russell was killed instantly in a violent head on collision Monday morning July 28th 2014, just east of the Airboat Association club grounds.
Russell Larkins was born September 13, 1967. Son of Richard and Onita (“Nikki”). He was a craftsman at welding & machinery he loved hunting, fishing and being around people. Russell leaves behind his wife of 27 years Karla.
In addition to being a member of the Royal Palm Masonic Lodge, Russell was a long time member and served on the Board of Directors at the Airboat Association of Florida. He was dedicated to protecting the Everglades and the Gladsman culture. He was instrumental in coordinating Everglade’s outings for the Boy and Girl Scouts as well as other youth groups.
His leadership and friendship will be missed by us all.
